Certificate Programs

The Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE) offers three certificates through our partnership with UW Professional & Continuing Education (PCE):

The User-Centered Design certificate consists of four graduate-level courses offered with our evening MS program. Many students who complete this program go on to apply the credits that they earned for the certificate toward a MS degree. Similarly, the Global Technology & Communication Management option, and certificate starting in autumn 2011, consist of three graduate level courses that can stand-alone as a concentration or be applied toward the MS degree.

The Technical Writing and Editing certificate is a sub-set of six undergraduate courses taken over the course of three quarters.
